I am now in the midst of change, beginning a break from my steadfast writing routine of the past three years. What served me well in creating my first three books has now lost its luster. There is a sense of loss and acceptance, relief rather than grief. Recognizing the need for separation to continue creation.
Looking for parallels with fatherhood, proud of my children for who they are, seeing that my role as a father also changes as time marches on. While adulthood has created physical separation, our love provides the support we need to continue our personal growth.
