I’m pleased to share an audiobook version of “A Sense of Awe.” Many thanks to Apartment Sessions for providing their studio where I recorded this in a two hour session the morning of July 24, 2019. Evan Tyor mastered the production with aplomb. This was all done just before the recording of “Becoming Change” that same afternoon- a banner day for me!
The book can be accessed through the link below or directly through SoundCloud, all free of charge. I…..
I attended the first Illuminate Lancaster festival, held at the Farm and Home Center in Lancaster, PA on Saturday, June 2nd. I had a booth where I sold my books and also led a “Meditations of Self-Discovery” workshop. The Illuminate festivals are run by Judy Bazis in many locations around the country. The festival website is www.illuminatefestivals.com/lancaster.
Thanks to Reverend Sylvia for hosting the Radiant Light Expo, held at the Inn at Reading in Wyomissing, PA on March 3rd and 4th. I met interesting people and sold some books while sharing stories and chocolates. I also led a “Meditations of Self-Discovery Workshop” on Saturday where I read “A Personal Connection” in a guided meditation. And I read one of my 100 word stories for the first time! Thanks to all.
Thanks to Sharon Muzio and the legion of volunteers who made the Spirit of Oneness conference such an enjoyable experience. I sold books, gave away chocolates, met lots of interesting people and continued finding my way in this community. As always, the most enjoyable part was my “Meditations of Self Discovery” workshop, where I read my latest book, “A Personal Connection.” I hope to see you there next year!
I would like to thank Midtown Scholar Bookstore for hosting my book signing for “A Personal Connection.” After an initial book signing session on the main floor, I moved to the reading room where I led a “Meditations of Self-Discovery” workshop. Many thanks to those who attended and bought my books. Special kudos to Alex Brubaker for all the work he did promoting and coordinating the event. As a reminder, my books are for sale in the Local Author section at Midtown Scholar.
Many thanks to Linda Thomas and everyone who made my visit so enjoyable. The workshop was a combination of the “Meditations of Self-Discovery” reading of “In Search of Something,” lots of dialogue and a writing exercise using the labyrinth to facilitate everyone’s creative thinking. Information on their upcoming workshops at the Pagoda building atop Mt. Penn can be found on their website, www.pagodawriters.com.
I want to thank Judy Bazis and everyone who made the Illuminate Frederick festival possible. It was my second visit of the year to this positive energy event. I continue to refine my workshop which is now titled, “Meditations of Self-Discovery,” designed to help you find your own truth. It was a pleasure to share my poetry!
I want to thank Sharon Muzio and everyone who made the Spirit of Oneness holistic expo possible. This was my second time around, having begun my public readings at last year’s event. I met lots of interesting people, shared stories and held a workshop where I read “In Search of Something” in meditation. A special thanks to my wife Lorie for her accompaniment on the djembe which amplified the spirituality of the workshop.
I would like to thank Midtown Scholar Bookstore in Harrisburg for a successful event. Special thanks to Sarah Chon for inviting me and also to Asfaha Embaie and his family for sharing the spotlight. And thanks to those of you who bought my books. May you find your own meaning in their words.
